Frame is about organising all the elements of the composition to fit inside the frame. You can overlap certain elements to create a sense of depth and importance. Zooming in on elements creates a sense of importance, overshadowing other elements within the frame.
I decided to choose a long landscape as my frame. I was given 3 subjects: Elephant, butterfly and me.
I decided to have my subjects at opposite ends of the frame. The trunk leads your eye from left to right and the butterfly's silhouette stands out against the washed out background. Because of the space i have left between the elephant and the butterfly, and the fact they are both facing each other, it creates a real sense of tension and friction, feeling the urge to find out what will happen next. I decided to use silhouettes so they would stand out against the grainy background.
